i believe it's my first post here too. have only been commenting on all your posts. and i have yet to update my own blog since i came back from australia. i'm just plain lazy. and no inspiration to write. when i do get the inspiration, my comp is not with me. like when i'm on my way to the hospital for my review. maybe i should go get the kind of phone that lets you update your blog wherever you are.

anyway so what have i been doing? well, besides playing wii, hiding on msn, spying on other pple's lives on facebook and planning my friend's ROM (eeks, i can't believe i've reached the age that my friends are slowly getting married!!), i've just decided to start learning spanish online. whether it's successful or not, we'll see. and why spanish you ask? that's cos i got 3 other friends learning spanish too, so at least i got someone to ask if i don't understand anything. yup abit of a lame reason but still, it's valid. :P

oh yah, i'm still waiting for the 3 hollanders to come and play wii with me!! when are you pretty ladies and handsome guy free? come and visit leh. i would if i could. haha. but i can't at the moment. how about good friday? raving rabbids are waiting for you! i've got a new one. different from what you've played the other time. so come and try it out! :)

and i've decided to post the video that moo moo shared on facebook. so for those who missed it there, you can watch it here. these people are really fantastic!

and you realise that they have 8 people in the group! maybe we can do something similar! if only we are that talented. look at how they are enjoying themselves. it'll be so fun! having fun at your "job". i wouldn't mind this kind of work. but of course, there are the endless and countless rehearsals, which i'm sure will also be fun! trust me, i did francis the musical and though the rehearsals were tiring, they were really enjoyable too. i miss those days.

i'm just really bored right now. watching mr bean playing on the dentist's chair. nothing new. i'm sure about all of you have already watched that episode. boring. so i've switched to channel 8 and am watching a re-run of an old drama. it's about the women's prison. i remember watching this show when i was really young. i doubt any of you watched the show before. hehe.

i'm starting to talk rubbish already. so think i better stop here before anyone starts throwing eggs or something *looks at cow*. oh ya, before i go, hao-ie, can you post something more interesting besides pH pens and tasty fish? i'm sure the rest agrees. hehe.

pH pens; to be precise.

I like to know the pH of things.

Used a pH pen in sec school.

My sec 3 chem teacher told me-

"it costs around 10 dollars."

i was so happy.

couldn't find it anywhere.

I'm bringing this up-

because i've found it.

It costs 70-140 bucks.

Water on Mars?

Striking new images of the Red Planet have raised hopes life could be found on Mars after all.

Scientists say they have photographic evidence that suggests liquid water may have been on the planet as little as five years ago.

Experts last night said Mars now appears more active than previously thought and the latest study shows why it is vital to continue to search for life on our planetary neighbour.

The first images of Mars' surface were taken in the 1960s and they suggested it was a dusty, cratered world rather like our Moon.

Now a new set of photographs has suggested that liquid water may have flowed on the planet a mere five years ago.

The discovery resulted from images taken by the Mars Global Surveyor which first recorded gullies and trenches that could have been made by fast-flowing water coursing down cliffs and crater walls.

Scientists in the USA decided to retake images of the gullies to search for any sign of recent activity.

Two of those originally photographed in 1999 and 2001 then photographed again in 2004 and 2005 showed changes consistent with water having flowed down the side of the crater. The discovery was made by scientists at the San Diego-based Malin Space Systems which operated a camera aboard the spacecraft.

Writing in the journal Science, the researchers led by Michael Malin said the properties and settings of the deposits in the gullies are consistent with water flow.

Expert Bruce Jakosky, of the University of Colorado at Boulder, said the study "underscores the importance of searching for life on Mars, either present or past.

"It's one more reason to think that life could be there," he added.

However Oded Aharonson of the California Institute of Technology urged caution over the findings.

He said the interpretation of the images as water activity was 'compelling' but only one explanation.

Until now the question of liquid water has mainly focused on ancient Mars and on the Martian north pole, where water ice has been detected.

Water along with a stable source of heat is essential for life to emerge.

Mars formed more than 4.5 billion years ago and scientists generally believe it went through an early wet and warm era that ended after 1.5 billion to 2.5 billion years, leaving the planet extremely dry and cold.

Water cannot remain a liquid for long because of subzero surface temperatures and low atmospheric pressure that would turn water into ice or gas.

But some studies have pointed to the possibility of liquid water flowing briefly on the surface through a possible underground water source that periodically shoots up.

Fox stole "Prison Break" Story

For four years in the 1960s, two brothers were on the run, fleeing authorities after a prison break at a juvenile facility. Robert Hughes, wrongfully incarcerated at 16, turned to older brother Donald, who helped him escape.

In a federal lawsuit, they say their agent sent Fox a manuscript in 2001 chronicling their experiences and the network wasn't interested in it. So they were surprised when, last fall, Fox began airing "Prison Break."

"It's a classic case of the rich trampling on the poor," Donald Hughes, 63, told The Associated Press.

Their copyright infringement case, filed last week in U.S. District Court in Jefferson City, seeks unspecified damages and other costs from Fox and the show's executive producer and creator, Paul Scheuring.

The men, still close and living in neighboring apartments in central Missouri, live on disability and Social Security.

Robert Hughes, 59, told the AP: "If we sold the manuscript at this point to a movie studio or network, they'd think we were copying `Prison Break.'"

Fox Broadcasting Co. spokesman Scott Grogin said the company had not seen the lawsuit and has no comment. Chris Alexander, spokesman for 20th Century Fox TV and Scheuring, said it's their policy not to comment on pending litigation.

In May 1964, 16-year-old Robert Hughes was wrongfully held in juvenile detention after his mentally ill mother, who suffered from paranoid delusions, told authorities he had threatened her with an ice pick during a family argument. She later recanted, but he was ordered to serve time until he was 21.

Donald Hughes, then 20, planned an escape and sprang his younger brother two months later. For the next four years, the brothers were fugitives, working jobs when they could and dodging authorities throughout the nation.

The two eventually were exonerated in 1968 after The Kansas City Star published a story detailing their ordeal.

"Prison Break," in its second season, is set in contemporary time. But the Hughes brothers say they've noted more than 30 places, names or events that are strikingly similar to those of their manuscript

Hey! Finally I managed to get into my account... but why is everything in chinese? Help!! How do I change it back to english? So how's everyone?
I just had my interview and written test for Mass Com on Sat. It was pretty hilarious coz I was my clumsy old self. First I accidentally switched off the computer by just merely leaning my bag against the cpu. The button is so sensitive I didn't even apply any pressure! Scare me I thought I spoiled their computer. Secondly they warned us about not submiting before you answered all the questions. Yup and you can guess what happened next. Hmmm.. I really have no idea how I did it. My fingers were no where near any button that indicated ENTER or SUBMIT! Hmm.. maybe the buttons there work differently from my comp. Weird. But luckily the ppl there were really nice in helping me. Ok I feel really bad about this one. On my way back from my toilet I had to make my way back to my seat.. carefully balancing in order to get pass all those legs. And oh no I accidentally kicked (lightly) this girl's knees and I almost fell on her. Felt so paiseh after that. Anyway that girl was really nice about it but still feel very bad. Sigh. Anyway the interview was pretty much ok. The interviewers talked more than we did. As for the written test I think they can pretty well tell how current affairs savvy I am.. sigh. Haha. Anw the interviewer said that there are lots of families in Mass Com.. that girl I mentioned earlier has a brother in year one.. and he was our guide too. Wow! Heee now all I can do is cross my fingers !! Anyway good luck to all those pple who are still having exams! After that you can come enjoy the sweet smell of freedom with me..hehehehe . Take care!

hello!!

haha me here again..i'm bored..exams aren't really over for me, so i'm kinda in tandem now. lemme explain. u see, in the 5 days from Monday 17th April to Friday 21st April, I had a grand total of 5 papers, with 2 of the papers on the same day. was quite abit of a mad rush really. and now tt nightmare week is finally over, I still can't really relax, cos i've still got a paper on 5th May, Friday. yep, 2 entire weeks between my 2nd last and last paper. wad a big gaping hole. and i'm worried i'll be too slack..as it is..i've alr finished a 630 pg thick storybook, almost packed my hall room to bareness, re-created my blog, half-spring-cleaned my home room, watched the latest episodes of desperate housewives and LOST, got started on yet another artsy project..and after blogging i'm gonna play maple story..and after that i'm gonna watch champs league: arsenal vs villareal..hmm the life of the night owl..

all right..some others pls update kk?? i think I wanna do something with the pics that we've all taken together..hmm at least with the precious few that have all 8 of us plus some "x-tra" pple in it..haha! all right..update soon pls kk?? esp tootsie. u can hide your other blog profiles de.

haha yeah our tagboard's very active, but ithought i might as well blog in the main area. the last post was like 6 months ago (!!!) by *clears throat* me. haha..this is gonna be a short post yah..i think u all mst have noticed by now i i tend to post/tag/surf in the wee hours of the night. yep, i'm a night owl. *hoot hoot* (my eyebags are evidence.)

anyway, the EXAMS are coming. at least for the uni pple like gor, toot and me..so the next few wks are gonna be mug mug and mug..which means i'll probably be blogging even more here =) heh. sometimes u just gota take the bore out of the endless studying. i mean, no point eh. if i just stare continuously at my notes, sooner rather than later, i'll find tt my eyes haven't shifted an inch from the same paragraph i started to read 2 hours ago. or i'll look into the mirror and discover (oh horrors!) tt i have red marks on my face because my weak tortured body surrendered and i plopped face down on my notes and books. it's better to take a break now and den, and do completely pointless things (like blogging) to take my mind off mugging for a while so tt i'll be more refreshed and prepared to face the sea of notes and books and powerpoint slides once again. yep. -nods head self-righteously- *lol*

ohohoh! and i'm so excited and happy!! *flaps arms and does a hapy dance* i got a single room! lalala..in my current block too =) which has a grand total of 4 female single rooms (while the guys have 10. oh, the unfairness of it all.). ok i admit tt among the 4 i was the one with the lowest ECA points, but eh... impt thing is i got a single room! haha..well, at least tt's what we agreed on. but hopefully nobody will come and fight with me for tt room. i mean, honestly, who really wants to climb 5 storeys all the way up Mt. i just absolutely miss u guys.

spending too much time in exile in pulau NTU, i only realized just how much i was missing out on. so just to say thank you all for this very special and precious night tonight. these are the memories tt i'll treasure, tt we'll all treasure in time to come. in fact, it's alr safely tucked away in my treasure box of precious moments in life. together with all the other precious moments we've shared since childhood. the trips to genting, the make-believe games of alligators and monsters tt can be vanquished with a simple bowl of make-believe water, the "houses" we built from mattresses and bolsters, the chinese carols we were busy writing down the hanyu pinyin for, the support we gave each other in times of grief and emotional hardship. all these memories i will keep safely tucked away in my treasure box. and maybe occasionally take them out, to relive and relish those lovely times we shared.

i'm being buried under tons of work.yes i've got no tutorials to do but there're so much readings, i'm falling behind alr, nd sch's barely started!! and i've alr got 2 presentations in the nxt 2 wks.. sigh.

oh yes! tell u all something damn scary. ok last night at 3am, my roomie n i were just studying at our tables, facing away from each other. the door was wide open. i stood up to reach for my dictionary and suddenly this noise came from behind me. FREAK! the tv switched on by itself!! and no, it wasn't the remote, cos the remote was sitting in its stand right in front of me, at the far corner of the table..wah we immediately switched off the tv and even turned off the main switch.

and erm hmmm bout the magazine right, it's not a one-man show eh. we need a brain-storming session to throw out ideas on wad to cover for the issue, delegation, deadlines..eh u all like very not free to meet leh. we MUST go out for outings together more often. like to Settler's Cafe!! play board games. the best way to bond =)

Washington D.C. Day One

hello from washington everybody!!

haha kinda din expect to get wireless network here..heehee think we're taping off someone's else network..but oh well..haha too bad. okie, lemme make an announcement first.

ATTENTION!!
I have officially decided to go to NTU Communications Studies!! yes gwennie, we can be in the same course next time =D

okie, now tt tt's done with, lemme tell u more bout my trip to washington.

at 7pm on 31st June, tuesday, colin drove yankai, zhuan and me to ithaca bus station, only to realize tt the station was closed!! fortunately, with colin and adeline's help we were assured tt we cld buy the tix from the bus driver himself, so yeah. we just waited till the bus came at 8.30pm and got on. realized tt bus trips at night seem to pass faster den those taken in the day. maybe it's the darkness, but there's something very relaxing bout bumbling along the road at night, and before i knew it, we'd been talking and laughing for 4 hours alr. we reached new york city's port authority at bout 1.15am, and were lucky to be able to get on the 1.45am bus to washington, tho we din get seats together. the bus was early and reached washington at 5.45am, ahead of schedule.

haha and if tt wasn't good enuff, we managed to check into our hotel immediately! at first we thought we wd only be able to check in only after 4pm, and were planning to leave our luggage with the concierge to be checked in ltr, but the front desk told us tt we wld be able to check in immediately =)

haha we were actuallie kinda planning to go off visiting immediately, but oh well we fell aslp and only made it for lunch at 3, at the National Museum of Natural History. howie wld have loved it there=) Spent the rest of the afternoon at the Museum, looking at all the dinosaurs, fossils, finding out how the Earth and planets were formed, looking at the legendary Hope diamond..and oh!! i think i fell in love with light pink and light blue gems..pink diamonds..light blue aquamarine gems...*swoonz* and there was this elderly lady at the Museum, sharing with us information about human history, with human skulls which were like 3 million yrs old..she was reallie nice =)

after the museum closed at 7.30pm, we walked all the way to the WWII Memorial and Lincoln Memorial..a reallie reallie long walk..and den back again..cos there were no Metro stations anywhere near the Memorials. the WWII Memorial was reallie beautiful. serene, majestic, poignant and full of history. you cld feel it in your bones. take a moment to think bout the pple who died in the war, sacrificing themselves for their countries, for peace, freedom and idealism.

the walk from the WWI Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial was reallie kinda funny. there was this swarm of flies which were buzzing directly over our heads and were following our progress as we walked along the reflection pool. haha we were like concentrating on keeping our mouths shut and den running the last few metres to the Lincoln Memorial in order to shake off the swarm. Funnily though, we took a much shorter time to walk back den we took to walk to the Memorials.

Did I mention how easy it is to navigate arnd Washington? the streets are unimaginatively named like 11th street, 12th street...17th street etc etc or C street, D street..G street, H street..the whole area is qt easy to naigate arnd and walk arnd.

Oh! forgot to mention something. While we were on our way to the memorials, we bought this juicy portugese sausage hotdog to eat..yum! haha ok tt wasn't the main point actualie. we met a US guy who stopped to tok to us near the Washington Monument. haha he was politically very frank, telling us tt he was in town just as a tourist and tt he din believe in Bush, saying tt he's from a Blue state, a Kerry supporter, not a red state. haha qt cool la, the pple u meet over here.

hmm..had instant noodles for dinner..haha pls the cinnamon cornflakes intro-ed to us by adeline. yum yum! haha thinking of going to eat at Hooters tmr..heehee, just for the experience la..

okie, very tired and slpy now. going to slp..one long day of mueum visits awaits tmr..tho hopefully 'll be able to go to the factiry outlets to take a look..haven't reallie done much shopping..been too busy touring arnd the place, tho i did buy this cute snake soft toy thing from the Natural History Museum today..gotta start buying gifts for pple la.

hello everyone!!!

haha oke, i know i've been kinda MIA recently...actuallie..i was kind of planning to keep a diary record of this entire trip...but...oh well. u know. as the days slip past..i kind of just let them slip...okie okie i know, shld be more disciplined...oh well..haha

its been a totally fun trip so far!!! okie, lemme update u..

okie, the first day i got here, as u all know, i went to 6 mile creek which is just behind the place i'm staying in right now. its reallie reallie cool. haha my first encounter with nature here in cornell...there were many many MANY more to come.

the next 2 day, we went to tour cornell. reallie huge and BEAUTIFUL campus. it's reallie breathtaking. gorges, waterfalls, lakes...*dreamy sigh* and the architecture, those beautiful old-fashioned brick buildings, new modern glass buildings..cornell plantations.a museum located right inside cornell, with security guards and all..and and..an ACTUAL CRUMBLING RUINED CASTLE!! now, how cool is that?!?!?!? *dreamy sigh again* wish i came to school here..

oh, infrastructure aside, i love the culture here too!! okie la, maybe cos it's summer right now, so pple here are kinda more relaxed. i think pple are more stressed when it's semester time, but overall, i think it's still pretty neat. as colin said, " in Singapore, your friends are your friends. Overseas, your friends are your family." =) tt was reallie nice. and true as well.

like the toronto trip we embarked on over the wkend. okie, i first heard abt it on thursday, the day yz had the pre-licensing course and i went to P (for Pyramid) Mall with adeline. kinda knew tt the guys were gonna go toronto on friday, but i was kind of looking fwd to going back to P Mall to buy like Victoria's secrets, GAP, Old Navy...and guess what? woke up in the morning to find out tt i'm gonna be going toronto too!!! *faintz* haha nv ever for 1 second regretted going. it was a wonderful wonderful trip.

okie, pardon me if you're bored by the details la, but this is like well, a belated diary entry, if u must. okie.

7 of us went altogther. colin, ian, chengli, james, yankai, zhuan and me. colin, ian and chengli were the drivers. the other 4 of us..qt bad la. non-drivers, so can't help to relieve them of driving. 7-8 hours road trip, inter-state driving summore..reallie no joke. okie, so anyway, there were 2 cars. colin the driver, yankai the navigator and james the dj in one car, and the other car was ian, chengli, zhuan and me.gotta say tt ian's a reallie gd driver.besides driving, he had to follow colin's car. haha the sports car he was driving was reallie cool too.

oh no. just realized there're so many things i wanna say bout the toronto trip..but now's alr 4.30am here..guess i'll just say the general stuff la.

okie. we set off from ithaca at arnd 3pm and reached the hotel at arnd 10pm. we were all starving when we went for dinner at this korean bbq place (like seoul garden, only better), but at the end of the meal, we were all stuffed. haha i kinda gave up like half an hr b4 the rest but oh well, they were all guys la..but even they waved the white flag soon after me..there were like 10 more plates of unfinished salmon, beef, fish and chicken left on our table..

the next day, we went for lunch at this dim sum place. very upscale, very ex. but very worth it. the dim sum was fabulous. after tt we walked to CN towers, the tallest free-standing building in Canada. the tix was ex la, but oh well, we all agreed to be suckers. haha let them suck our money la. CAD32. this'll be a one-time thingy anyway.haha will NEVER go u to CN Towers again, so just do the entire touristy thingy for once la. tho if u ever go, i suggest u not take the stimulator ride. very very disappointing. the movie was gd, but not a must-watch. the glass floor was cool! tho it'd have been better if i wasn't wearing a skirt..yeah. and the open air part was cold!! haha the wind blowing your hair everywhere..heehee..AJC was like in full swing during this trip man..haha it's so funny la..(and if u dunno wad AJC stands for, u can ask toot). the 5 of us, ian, chengli, yankai, zhuan and me had such a great time we kinda well..shall we say forgot abt a certain person..haha..dinner was at this chinese restaurant..and we ate roasted pigeon!! I ate roasted pigeon!! shao1 ru3 ge1!! haha tastes just like duck!

the next day, we went to pacific mall, this humongously humongous symmetrical mall. nothing very nice there la. tho i did buy a pink sweater. everything's there on sale of like 50%, 60%..but the original price is like CAD100++ so... u do the math. the sweater i bought had original price below 100 and was 50% off, but still not cheap la..

on the way back to ithaca from toronto, we stopped at niagara falls for dinner. ate at rainforest cafe..the price was kinda steep, but the experience, the ambience was reallie worth it. went to this hershey factory where they make huge hershey chocs...mouthwatering...din get anything tho.maybe next time when we go niagara falls nxt wk ba.

finally got back to ithaca at almost 2am. then today was supposed to be a rest day plus maybe go P Mall to go shopping..and wad happned in the end? haha yeah. we went to syracuse.Ian, colin, adeline, yankai, zhuan and me.

stopped by this place called douglas, where they sell fantastic fish and chips and we got 2 fish burgers to go. when we reached P Mall..awww.everything was closed!! due to Memorial Day la. just abt the only thing open was Kaufmann and hooters. qt happy Kaufmann was open =) haha got reallie cheap stuff over here. bought this over-sized green jersey-type top and this black knee-length skirt for only USD9.77. reallie reallie worth it.

dinner was at this seafood restaurant place called red lobster. the food and the service over there is reallie impressive. we were in a hurry to catch the Madagascar movie, so we asked them to hurry with our orders, and voila! *poof* our orders were set before us in under 10 min! plus our waitress, kelly, took zhuan's order wrongly, and as a result, he got to eat the wrong order for free! god, i was soooo impressed. so we left like a $5 tip for kelly, for the wonderful service and the scrumptious food.

in the end, we still cldn't make it in time for the 9.15 show la, so hee..just went in for the 950 one instead..it was a reallie reallie funny movie i tell u. hee hee sometimes watching with guys is fun, cos they say the funniest things bout the movie afterwards. :-D

one thing bout US roads is the lack of streetlights. i guess they can't afford to. cos the interstate roads are reallie long. will use up too much fuel. the reflectors are actuallie qt an ingenius idea, but not as safe as streetlights of course. it's nice tho, when u look out the windiw. can see the stars spreading across the night sky..something u'll nv get to see in the city unless there's a major power failure.and def not in singapore.it's so beautiful.

okie, the time's very late now. think i'll finally go to slp. woke u at 1pm today heehee..gotta do laundry and iron tmr..okie..nite everyone. hope this long post makes up for the days i was MIA..

hello everyone...haha ok as i am an extremely guai girl...i shall do as gor gor suggests and post here too..hha but somehow i still kinda pefer emails...more personal yah? *winkz* ;-) haha...ok i shall keep the timing of my posts here as singapore time..ok..today's the start of my 2nd day in the US of A...and horrors!!! i think i may be jet-lagging!!! (so much for my self-proclaim triumph over the dreaded thing yesterday..) but!! c'mon..gimme a lil credit...at least i ain't suffering so bad from it...heehee...more like insomnia la...slept at 11pm..woke up at 6 bloody am...and cldn't get back to slp...

oh and 6am here is very bright..like 7 plus/8am in singapore le..and darkness fell in the night only at abt close to 9? yeah...all right all right...judging from the long hours of sunlight i suppose (grudgingly, mind!) it's summer over here...tho u wldn't be able to tell from the perpetual air-conditioned-room-feeling u get over here...

haha actuallie it's qt nice over here..feels qt homely actuallie...there's qt a large community of Singaporeans over here..and they're very nice! haha and guess what i had for dinner yesterday? home-cooked veggies and soy sauce chicken with rice! haha yep. yz's housemate, James, cooked it for us...toot...u know who right...ok i know how u feel abt him..and aft less den 2 hours of meeting him in person, i must agree with u tt he is.....*yuckz* haha die..this is a public blog so hope he doesn't stumble upon this in the net...haha not tt i care actuallie la..aft all i'll be back in singapore in another 4 wks tim..amd wll hopefully nv have to cros paths with him ever again...but yz's gonna live wih him for another yr, prbably 2 yrs...so...yah. ok the only saving grace he has is his cooking skills..tho i reallie can't say he's all that humble abt it...hai boasting abt wad his father is a cook so of couse he has to know how to cook...and how his father as a cook can bring home like up to $12000 a month...hai...your father a hawker den say hawker la...no need to package until so nice.. just wanna impress the hongkong girl u bring home for dinner la...this still not so bad..worse was he ask me wad dialect grp i'm from..wah den i thought he's finally being abit more friendly..and he ask if i know how to speak canto..den i say nope. dun understand a single word.den he happily tok to the girl in canto right in front of our faces...knowing full well tt we all dun understand a word...hai okok 'nuff bout him..

carebears is back on TV! it'll be aired on Kids Central, every Wednesday at 5pm! muahahah. sorry to be sounding a little childish here. but who doesnt miss the times of those nice cartoons as compared to those being showed these days. hmmm mabbe ah-yan wont feel this way cos she's in a different generation from the rest of us. haha. okay tot i brighten up the blog a little. so long got nobody post liao. heh.

aiyo a bit too early dun u think? i know all of us are busy pple (yeah even pple like me hu have no school until like august. heh.) , so maybe end of jan can?? good products of writing require brain-storming, research, careful construction, searching thru the thesaurus for more colourful and interesting and impressive alternatives to boring words like good and nice, learning to manipulate the software in order to achieve the desired hardware and editting and throwing it all away and starting all over again on a clean slate, not to mention the dependence on when the muse decides to come a-knocking...and that all requires time.

plus we have yet to decide on wad articles, and like nobody is actuallie responding to toot's blog entry except for me here doing it now. yeah i wouldn't mind doing any of the articles that toot has mentioned below. haha how bout i start the ball rolling. i volunteer for the chinese christmas carolling article? toot. u haven't chosen ur article either.

hey all! merry christmas! may all of you have a blessed christmas this year!

seems a little late but well, it's 12 days of christmas remember? so i guess i'm not late! haha. okay i know i'm getting crappy.

hey honey, glad we did get you that cake! wanted the bigger one. but we scared no place to contain it whilst we're at mass and i'm sure u cant possibly finish the cake before carolling right?? haha. thank God that we manage to find one of the right size. well Happy Belated 17th Birthday! u're finally 17! hee.

oh i watched the phantom of the opera too! caught the sneak preview last last friday with my st. nicks frens. midnight show somemore. so it was amazing that i din fall asleep, considering how tired and sleepy i was before i went to watch the show. and yup i agree with honey that it was fantastic. basically the singing was very good! all of u shld catch it if u havent already yet done so.

ah moo. i think our magazine will never work out. haha. unless we get started like right now. and since u're the most free amongst all of us, u shld do the most work?? haha. let me get started. we shld decide wat topics we wanna do. each one of us do 1 or 2 articles. firstly, we shld cover the christmas party at godma's hse. and the chinese christmas carolling on xmas eve. then someone cld do an article on christmas. how christmas came about to be on 25th dec (b'cos jesus wasnt born on the 25th dec). and how santa claus, elfs etc. came about. oh and there's one thing i was thinking whether we shld do. how abt a tribute to ah-gong? i'm not sure if u all wanna. if everyone's okay with it then someone can do one? yup that's abt the ideas i have now. so grab the article u wanna do! dateline will be 3rd week of Jan 2005 okay? any more suggestions are welcomed of cos. just post it up or leave a msg in the tagboard.

nah falling snowflakes ain't my definition for nice template. just tt the blogskin for my own blog came wif the code for falling snowflakes and i saw the falling snowflakes when i pressed preview but they din come out when i typed in my actual blog add. and no i din fiddle wif it. so wondering wad's wrong wif it huh.

ok anyway i think our template need more eh...'facilities' anyway. like links to our own blogs and other websites etc.

ooh and tagboard also. yeah i'll go add a tagboard to my own blog when i have erm the time la. haha tt'll be qt a long while. honey y not u help me by telling me apecifically which website to go to? i've been searching but after clicking they tell me tt free tagboards are no longer available...haiz. resolve and determination to get a tagboard up by today is fast fading.
